UT Health Henderson
Mica Norman is a family nurse practitioner and hopitalist at UT Health Henderson. She says she felt drawn to healthcare as a way to care for the community. “I want to help make a difference in the Henderson population. I love being able to talk with patients and develop a plan with each one to improve their life.”
Norman’s care philosophy is centered around providing high-quality and effective healthcare while imparting compassion and understanding. “I want to work with the people of our community to enhance the value of health for the whole person, not just their diagnosis.”
Norman has worked in several areas of healthcare in her 12 years as a nurse. “I have experience in medical-surgical nursing, the emergency department, home health, hospice and occupational medicine. Each area helped deepen my understanding of healthcare and patient needs. As a family nurse practitioner, I love the ability to treat every age group, from birth to the golden years and everywhere in between.”
